This meet is becoming a great tradition to kick off your season! Thank you so much to the teams who have already committed to showing up. This will be our 10th installment of the Coach King Parkview Distance Kickoff; let's make this an awesome meet! Continuing this year will be a 1600m Middle School Division split up by skill not by gender!
As always, please contact me at ParkviewCoachDXC@gmail.com about anything regarding this meet. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a $5 gate entrance fee for adult spectators and a $4 entrance fee for students not on the participating track team. No family will be charged more than $20. ***NOTE*** ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE VIA THE GOFAN APP! You'll download the app, search for Parkview High School, scroll down and find our event, and buy the necessary number of tickets. You'll get a confirmation email that you'll show to our gate workers via your phone.
Entries: ENTRIES CLOSE at 12:00pm (noon) WEDNESDAY, 2/7!
Entry limit: UNLIMITED.
Rules: All GHSA Track & Field rules will be enforced.
Seeding: VERY IMPORTANT. Due to the nature of this meet (for most, the first meet of the season), we will allow coaches to submit seed times based on their professional opinion of the athlete's skill. It is crucial that this is done with accuracy to protect the integrity of this meet as the heats will be developed based upon submitted seed times.
Timing: FAT Timing will be done by The Perfect Timing Group.
Cost: $100 for one gender or $175 for both guys and girls.
NOTE: If you have a smaller squad, we'll charge $20 per athlete. Example: You have 3 guys competing. Bring/mail a check for $60. You have 4 guys and 2 girls competing, bring a check for $120. No single gender team will be charged more than $100, and no complete team will be charged more than $175.

Awards: Team champions will be awarded a cup trophy. The winner of each event overall, per tradition, will receive a Spike trophy. Second and third will receive a 'giveaway' of sorts to celebrate the strong performance.
Coaches' Hospitality: We will have coaches' hospitality in our pressbox courtesy of our awesome Parkview Cross Country team.
Full concessions will be available.
Merch: We will have a meet specific shirt along with other merch for purchase.
Schedule of Events (rolling schedule):
4:30pm - Coaches' Meeting - 2nd floor of the press box
5:00pm - Heats to be run from slowest to fastest per event -- girls followed by boys. ***Remember - the Middle School 1600m will be by seed time, NOT by gender***
Team Awards to immediately follow the conclusion of the 4x400m.
