2nd Annual Lake Lanier Classic 

Meet Program/Heat Sheets

Entry Fee: $175 for both or $100 per team. Make checks payable to: War Eagles Track & Field Boosters

March 18, 2023

Entries: 3 entries per individual running and field event. 2 entries per relay. GHSA participation limits apply.

Awards: Medals will be given out for top 3 finishers and awards for top 2 teams.

Field Events: All field events will have 3 attempts. Field event minimums will be used after the first attempt. The minimums and starting heights are listed at the bottom of the page.

Drop off/Parking: Buses should drop off at the stadium/field house & then park in front of the school.

Gate Admission: $5 for all spectators; Athletes & Coaches are free. Spectators should enter from the upper parking lot by the school

Infield/Warmups: Reserved for competing athletes and coaches only. No parents or other spectators are allowed on the infield.

Food: Hospitality room for coaches. Concessions available for athletes and fans. Several restaurants near by as well.

9:00 - Coaches meeting

9:10 - National Anthem

9:30 Events: 

Boys Pole Vault, Girls Discus, Boys Shot, Girls Triple Jump (Pit 1), Boys Long Jump (Pit 2), Girls High Jump

9:45 Events:

1600m Run - Girls Only

3200m Run - Boys Only

11:00 Events: 

Girls Pole Vault, Boys Discus, Girls Shot, Boys Triple Jump (Pit 1), Girls Long Jump (Pit 2), Boys High Jump

12:00 Events:

4x800m Relay (Girls and Boys)

12:30 Rolling Schedule (times are estimates). Heats will be girls followed by boys unless otherwise noted.

Boys HJ - 5 feet 6 inches
