The 6th Annual Metro Atlanta Track and Field Championship



Entry Fees for the Metro Championship:

One Team (Boys or Girls): $200

Both Teams: $325

Saturday Schedule (March 25th)

8:30AM Coaches Meeting

ALL RUNNING EVENTS ARE GIRLS FOLLOWED BY BOYS

9:00AM 3200 Meter Run Final (4 entries per school - 3 can score) Final based on time

10:30AM: Running Prelims Start (Girls followed by Boys) 3 Entries per School.. 8 teams/athletes will make the finals on Monday.  Heat winners of each heat (will be between 4-5 heats) then the next fastest times will make the finals. All events will have 1st, 2nd and Final calls. Track events will be on a rolling schedule.

NOTE: No Prelims on Saturday for the 1600 meters, 800 meters, 4x200 and 4x400 Relays - Monday will all be Finals based on Time.

10:30AM 4x100 Meter Relay Prelim (Max 2 Teams per school)

10:50AM 400 Meter Dash Prelim

11:15AM 100 Meter Dash Prelim

11:35AM  100/110 Meter Hurdles Prelim 

NOTE: (10-15 minute break as we move hurdles and give sprinters time for recovery)

12:10PM 200 Meter Dash Prelim

12:30PM 300 Meter Hurdles Prelim

12:50PM 4x800 Meter Relay Final (Max 2 Teams per school - Only One Relay Team can score). 

1:00PM FIELD EVENTS BEGIN

(All Field Events Allow 3 Entries) Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus will get 3 Attempts with the Top 9 Advancing to a Final where they get one more attempt. (Top 8 places score points)

1:00PM Boys Shot Put / Girls Discus

1:00PM Boys Pole Vault (8' starting height)

1:15PM Boys High Jump (5' starting height) followed by Girls High Jump (4' starting height)

1:30PM Boys Triple Jump followed by Girls Long Jump

2:30PM Boys Long Jump / Girls Triple Jump

2:30PM Boys Discus / Girls Shot Put

Remember for both days meet is at Pace Athletic Complex which is off campus

4:00PM Start - This is a projected Time Schedule for Monday, but we will be on a Rolling Schedule.
