COACHES: Upon arrival, please proceed to the pavilion to pick up your Meet Packet. We are going to need your help with the field events.
ENTRIES:
- Deadline for entries: February 21, 2022 by 10:00 p.m.
- Entry Fee: $150 per team (boys & girls) or $100 per gender (if only bringing one)
- Entry Limits: Unlimited per event (GHSA entry limits per athlete: 4 events)
GENERAL:
- Concessions will be available
- All seating is in the West Stands and Home Side (along the finish line straightaway)
- 1/4" spikes only: We have a brand new track surface. Please help us maintain it!
- Athletes are not allowed on the infield at any time. At check-in, they will be held in a staging area pending the start of their event and will be released onto the infield at the appropriate time by meet officials. We will have warm-up boundaries marked off on the infield for last-minute warm ups. Any athlete found on the infield for any reason without permission other than to complete their warm-up or competition will be disqualified.
- We will start the meet promptly at 3:30 PM. Leave for the meet early! Traffic into northeastern Gwinnett County is terrible on a good day.
ADMISSION: $5 per person
SCORING AND AWARDS:
- Team scoring in each event: 10-8-6-4-2-1
- Only 2 individuals or relays per team in each event will score.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS - February 23, 2022
- Running event times are estimates. We will work on a rolling schedule.
- We will follow the NFHS/new GHSA order of events.
FIELD EVENTS:
- Field event participants should report to their respective competition areas for check-in at first call.
- Three attempts each (no finals) in Discus, LJ, SP, & TJ
Session 1: 3:30 p.m. - Girls Discus, Boys SP, Girls LJ (followed by Boys LJ), Girls PV (followed by Boys PV), Boys HJ (followed by Girls HJ)
Session 2: 4:30 p.m. - Boys Discus, Girls SP, Girls TJ* (followed by Boys TJ)
*Triple Jump will start upon completion of the Long Jump and may start prior to 4:30.
RUNNING EVENTS:
- Running events will be on a rolling schedule (girls followed by boys).
- Schedule is tentative and will be finalized prior to the meet.
