Meet Notes:
*Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 teams (for each gender). The top 3 individual finishers in each event will be awarded medals.
* Directions to North Gwinnett High School can be found at www.northgwinnett.com

*We will start the meet promptly at 4:00 PM. Leave for the meet early-traffic into northeastern Gwinnett County is terrible on a good day.
* We will mail the medals and trophies if you have to leave.

* COACHES: Upon arrival, please proceed to the Clerk of the Course's table to pick-up your Meet Packet.

*Coaches we are going to need your help with the field events.
ADMISSION:
* General admission is $5. Concessions will be available at the meet.

* All seating is in the West Stands (along the finish line straight away).


GENERAL:
* " spikes only...we have a new surface on our track this year; please help us maintain it.

* Please instruct your athletes regarding the uniform and jewelry rules in order to avoid rule infractions and disqualification.

* Athletes are not allowed on the infield at any time. The Clerk of the Course tent will be set up on the Home side of the football field. At check-in, they will be held in a staging area pending the start of their event. We will have warm up boundaries' marked off in the in field. Any athlete found in the infield for any reason other than Warm-up or competition without permission will be disqualified.

* All events will be contested as finals. Heats will be run slowest to fastest, based on seed times.

SCORING AND AWARDS: Team Scoring, 10-8-6-4-2-1 and 10-8-6-4-2 for relays (Depending on the numbers of teams attending scoring will change). While we are permitting unlimited entries, only the top 3 from each team can score. For relays, only 1 team will score.

FIELD EVENTS: (Participants should report to their respective competition areas. Best throw out of 3)
(3 trials each in Discus Throw, Long Jump, Shot Put, Triple Jump)

4:15 PM Boys Discus/Boys Long Jump/Boys High Jump/ Boys Pole Vault

RUNNING EVENTS:
The order of all common running event heats will be girls followed by boys.

4:15 PM 4X100 Meter Relay
4:40 PM 1600 Meter Run (Waterfall Start)
5:00 PM 400 Meter Dash
5:20 PM 100 Meter Dash
5:40 PM Girls' 100 Meter High Hurdles (33")
5:55 PM Boys' 110 Meter High Hurdles
6:05 PM 800 Meter Run (One-Curve Stagger -Waterfall start)
6:25 PM 200 Meter Dash
6:45 PM Girls' 300 Meter Low Hurdles (30")
6:55 PM Boys' 300 Meter Intermediate Hurdles
7:10 PM 3200 Meter Run (Waterfall Start) (boys and girls together if low numbers)
7:30 PM 4X400 Meter

Entries will be due March 11, 2013 no later than 11:59pm

Top 6 place - Top 3 Medal (Running Events and Field Events)
We are not running a 4 x 800 relay
Awards:
Team 1st and 2nd place Girls and Boys
Medals for Individuals placement 1st,2nd.3rd,
Points are awarded for top 6 places
We will mail medals to the winners.
