Welcome to the Friday Night Lights at The Fulton County Cross Country Championship. This year it was decided that instead of hosting the usual Saturday morning meet, we wanted to host a meet that would allow us to do something a little different. This year the Fulton County Cross Country Championship will be held at night which allowing us to put on a senior night for cross country runners not typically seen. I feel as if this will allow us to honor our graduating athletes in an environment completely their own and who doesn't like a night race. All that I ask is that you send in a list of the seniors who will be in attendance as well as some information about them so that we can formally recognize them. We will have personalized goody bags as well for each senior. Thanks, and I hope to see you guys out on the course this year.

Time Schedule:

7:00 PM Middle School Girls 3200 (Unlimited Runners)

7:20 PM Middle School Boys 3200 (Unlimited Runners)

7:40 PM JV Girls (Unlimited Runners)

8:10 PM JV Boys (Unlimited Runners)

8:40 PM Championship Girls (7 Runners)

9:10 PM Championship Boys (7 Runners)

Awards:

The top 15 Boys and Girls Finishers in each race will receive medals. Awards will be given at the end of the meet during an awards ceremony. The Top 3 teams in each race will receive a trophy.

Best Program:

A HS will be presented the Best Program award for the overall performance of its program through the 4 four HS races: JV Boys, JV Girls, Varsity Boys, and Varsity Girls. The scoring will be as follows:

In each race a first place team will be awarded 1 point, the second place team 2 points, the third place team 3 points etc..

The points will then be added up and the program with the lowest score total will be crowned

Entry Fees:

High Schools: $300 per school, $150 per team

If school is unable to field an entire team or just wants to send a couple of runners, the entry fee will be $25 per runner

Middle Schools: $75 per team, $150 per school max

There will be a $5 charge per spectator. GHSA passes and athletes are free.

Teams that register late will be assessed a late fee.
