Meet Information
Please find Hugh Mills Stadium track meet guidelines and policies for the 2021 track season. Extra safety precautions have been put in place due to COVID-19.
Temperature will be checked for teams, coaches,staff and spectators prior to entry.
*Student-athletes, coaches, staff and spectators must wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking.
Student-athletes must wear a mask in the bleachers and on the infield.
Masks are not required for student-athletes during actual competition.
Student-athletes must remain in the bleachers until it is time to warm up for their event.
Team entrance will be at the East Side gate entrance. We will not enter down the hill.
Teams will have a designated area to sit as a team in the bleachers on the East side.
Tents are allowed for teams in the East side bleachers.
Buses will drop off teams at the Stadium Drive Entrance on the East side.
Buses will park behind the Albany High Fieldhouse on the football fields.
Spectators will sit on the West side only.
Student-athletes are not allowed to enter the West side bleachers from the track.
No field access other than teams, coaches, athletic trainers, doctors, officials, media and school administrators.
Signage will be posted and hand sanitizer stations will be positioned inside the stadium.
Social distancing will be enforced for spectator seating.
All spectators must remain in the stands unless at a concession stand or in the restroom.
No standing or loitering in concourse areas.
Children under 9th grade must enter and remain with an adult. .
No crossover on track once you enter the stadium.
Concessions will sell prepackaged/prewrapped items only.
Concessions will be open on both sides.
No reentry to the stadium once you exit.
Spectator tickets will be sold at the gate until capacity is met.
Track meets will be conducted under GHSA and DCSS COVID-19 protocols.

The L.C. Smith & Winfred Benson Relays is GHSA SANCTIONED and will be held at Hugh Mills Stadium, home of the GHSA Girls State Track & Field Championships .We will begin promptly at 9:00am. Entries will be limited so please submit your entries as early as possible. DUE TO OUR COVID GUIDELINES WE WILL CLOSE THE MEET REGISTRATION WITH THE FIRST 16 TEAMS WITH ATHLETES REGISTERED . THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!
The entry fee will be $100 per team or $150 for both boys and girls. Please make checks payable to Monroe Track & Field.

The team trophy and high point athletes presentation will follow immediately after the final event.
Please submit your online entries in a timely manner!
All entries must meet GHSA eligibility requirements. Times, heights, and distances should be submitted on the enclosed forms for seeding purposes. Times for running events should be in meters.
Please be as accurate as possible to ensure that the seeding process will be fair for all athletes
