The L.C. Smith & Winfred Benson Relays is GHSA SANCTIONED and will be held at Hugh Mills Stadium, home of the 2025 GHSA AD2 and 3A State Championship.

The meet will begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

Entries will be limited so please submit your entries as early as possible.



Fees:

  • General Admission is $10 

Registration deadline is March 13, 2025, at midnight.



Hugh Mills Stadium Track Meet Guidelines

  • Team entrance will be at the East Side gate entrance. We will not enter down the hill.

    • Tents are allowed for teams in the East side bleachers.

    • Buses will drop off teams at the Stadium Drive Entrance on the East side.

    • Buses will park behind the Albany High Fieldhouse on the football fields.

    • Student-athletes are not allowed to enter the West side bleachers from the track.

  • Spectators will sit on the West side only.

  • No field access other than teams, coaches, athletic trainers, doctors, officials, media, and school administrators.

  • No standing or loitering in concourse areas.

  • Children under 9th grade must enter and remain with an adult.

  • No crossover on track once you enter the stadium.

  • Concessions will be open on both sides.

  • No re-entry to the stadium once you exit.

  • Spectator tickets will be sold at the gate.

Awards

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be given for each event

  • Team points will be calculated and team trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams for boys and girls

All entries must meet GHSA eligibility requirements. Times, heights, and distances should be submitted on the enclosed forms for seeding purposes. Times for running events should be in meters.

Please be as accurate as possible to ensure that the seeding process will be fair for all athletes
