Crazy Relays at the Bluff

Teams: Cherokee Bluff, White County, Chestatee, Lumpkin County, and Jackson County
Entries: 5 entries per field event; 2 relay teams per team; Entries are due on Monday, February 22, 2021 by 6:00 PM
o Due to COVID, we will not have a check-in area. Coaches will be given the hip numbers to give to their athletes that will be provided in their packets.
o We will spread teams a part; each team will be given a designated area in the visitors stands.
o No athletes will be allowed on the field unless they are competing; we will be using wrist bands for all field event athletes. Wrist bands provided in the coaches packets.
o Fans and athletes will be separate; Fans to stay in the stands for running and all field events; behind the fence for shot put and discus.
o Each team to bring their own water.
Infield/Warmups: Reserved for competing athletes and coaches only. No parents or other spectators are allowed on the infield. Failure to comply with this rule will result in removal from the stadium and potential disqualification for the associated team. Coaches, please help us enforce this! Once field events are complete, warm ups will be allowed on the track. Athletes can also warm up around campus or the practice field adjacent to the stadium.
Parking: Busses should drop off at the stadium and then park in front of the school. Spectators can park in any available spaces on campus.
Timing: All events are FAT
Awards: Top 3 relays and top 3 field events will receive a baton. One athlete per team can pick up their award at the table near the concession stand.
Coaches Hospitality: Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the coaches in the hospitality room.
Concessions: Concessions will be available as potential COVID guidelines allow.
Gate Admission: $5 for all spectators; Athletes & Coaches are free
Meet Entry Fee: $100 for both teams (boys and girls), you may bring check to meet; Make checks payable to: Cherokee Bluff XC/TF Booster Club
