The 12th Annual Milton Invitational Showcase is scheduled for March 1st and 2nd. Last year, many new stadium records were set and broken at this highly competitive meet. Similar to last year our meet will be ran over two days Friday and Saturday, but still count as 1 meet.  NEW EVENT for the 2019 Invitational meet 400m Hurdles.   Our goal is to run a time efficient meet in doing so we will continue to have limits on team and event entries (which varies by events), as well as measurement opportunities for non-minimal mark jumpers. The top 3 finishers will be awarded medals. Team awards: The Top Girls and Boys teams, Runner up Girls and Boys, and Top overall team will receive a trophy. All scoring will be based on day 1 and 2 results. Horizontal jumps will be 4 attempts- (LJ, TJ) - No Finals Boys/ Girls. All measurements less than minimum distance will not be measured after 1st marking attempt.

Minimum marks-

Long Jump- Girls-13ft; Boys-17ft (4 jumps, no finals)

Triple Jump- Girls-26ft; Boys-34ft (4 jumps, no finals)

Throwing events will be 4 Attempts- No Finals Boys/ Girls. All measurements less than minimum distance will not be measured after 1st marking attempt.

Minimum marks-

Discus- Girls- 70ft; Boys- 100ft (4 throws, no finals)

Shot Put- Girls- 25ft; Boys-35ft (4 throws, no finals)

Vertical jumps please do not enter athletes in the High Jump or Pole Vault events that do not meet the opening height.

Opening Height-

High Jump- Girls-4'4'' ; Boys-5'6"

Pole Vault- Girls-7' ; Boys-9'

GHSA rules on entries will apply:

A contestant may enter a maximum of two (2) relays, and any one (1) of the combinations listed below. Competitors not on one or both relay teams are still restricted to one of the following combinations:

1. Three (3) field events

2. Two (2) field events and one (1) individual running event

3. One (1) field event and two (2) individual running events

Gate entry fee:

$5 for adults

$3 for kids

Full Concession stand will be open both days.

Team Awards:

Top Overall Team- Based on total team points (Boy and Girl Scores)

Runner up- Girls Team

Top Boy Team

Runner up- Boys Team

Medals:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive medals (both individual and relay teams)

Meet Cost:

Day 1 Only: Single Gender $70/ Both: $140

Day 2 Only: Single Gender $120/Both: $240

Both Day 1 and 2: Single Gender $170/ Both: $340

Coaches:

Meal tickets will be provided for the coaches (both days), in addition to access of items in coaches hospitality room (press box).

Coaches meeting will take place near the finish line tents on both days. Friday @ 4:30 and Saturday @ 9:30.

*We will need assistance with a couple of field events and exchange zones for the 4x100 and SMR.
