Meet Information
The 2008 Athens Area Championships are scheduled for April 7/8 (Monday / Tuesday) this year at Athens Christian. Schools confirmed are: Clarke Central; Cedar Shoals; Oconee County; North Oconee; Prince Ave.; Athens Academy and Athens Christian. There will be a separate Large school / Small school division for team scoring, as was done in \'06. Awards will include Team Area Champions and runners-up, along with the Area Individual Champion in each event. Schedule is as follows: (same basic schedule as \'06)
MONDAY, 4/7; 4:15 pm: All Field Events; 1600 meter run; 400 Relay and Fat Man (throwers) Relay.
TUESDAY, 4/8; 4:30 pm: All remaining Running Events and Awards.
Timing: FAT.
