Girls & Boys - 4/10/2018
Speed Meet Results will be (FAT Times)
Medals will be given to 1st place finishers in every event and ribbons will be awarded to places 2 through 8.
Team trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd , and 3rd places finishers for both girls and boys.
*Please Note
The meet is limited to 1 individual and only 1 relay per runner. For example if John does the triple jump for his individual he can not do the 100 meter dash. The only other event he can do is a relay.
The meet is for Fayette County, Whitewater, Sandy Creek, Lovejoy, Douglas County,
Creekside, Griffin, Langston Hughes, Fredric Douglas, Tri-Cities and Mundy's Mill. The cost of the meet is $35.00 per gender and $70.00 for both genders. Make the check out to Fayette County High School. You need a password to enter this meet. This is a password protected meet so please contact Coach John Strickland, at strickland.john@mail.fcboe.org or call him at 404-735-1586 for the password or if you would like to enter the meet. It is limited space so contact him as soon as possible.

Since its late in the season, we need time/ height/ distance. Fast heats will be the last two heats.
We will try to seed the last 2 heats so that all the schools will be represented.
Assistance: We need each team to provide one asst. to run off one field event.
Format: Each athlete may only participate in a maximum of one (1) individual event and one (1) relay. Every event will be run as a final; section vs. time.
Order of the
Field Events: These will all begin simultaneously at 5:00p.m. sharp.
High Jump
Shot Put (three throws)
Discus (three throws)
Long Jump (three jumps)
Triple Jump (three jumps)
Pole Vault
Order of the
Track Events: Beginning with 3200m at 6:05 p.m. sharp, we will follow this rolling schedule
3200m.

4x400m relay
We will run off the running events in the order above; this is the normal order, with the
exception of the 3200m being the first running event, and the 4x100 being the next to last event. Since no runner can be in both relays, having them back-to-back wont be an issue.
