9:30 AM Field Events (3 throws/3 jumps)

Middle School

o Girls long jump followed by boys

o Boys High Jump followed by girls

High School

o Boys Shot Put followed by girls

o Discus girls followed by boys

o Pole Vault girls followed by boys

10:30 AM Field Events

Middle School

o Shot Put girls followed by boys

o Discus boys followed by girls

High School

o Boys long jump followed by girls

o Girls Triple jump followed by boys

o Boys High Jump followed by girls

11:30 AM rolling schedule (2 heats) sequence is middle school girls, middle school boys, high school girls, high school boys

$50.00 per team and $100 for both boys and girls. This event is a private event for all schools in Spalding County.

Timing will be done by The Perfect Timing Group.

Griffin High School has a newly surfaced all weather track and field.

Scoring/Awards:

-10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1 (unless the number of teams dictates otherwise)

-Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each event

-Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams

-All races will be run as final by times

Entry Limits:

This is a closed meet to Spalding County Schools

Each school may enter 3 athletes per gender per individual event and 2 relay teams per gender. Each individual can only enter a maximum of 3 individual events and 2 relays

*There will be a concession stand run by Griffin High School.

*There will be a 8:30 A.M. coaches meeting for last minute scratches and minimum field requirement discussion.

*Please have all entries done on Milesplit by midnight on Thursday 3/10

*Meet program will be emailed to each participating coach on Friday 3/11

*Schedule of events will be emailed with the meet program.

*Each school will be asked to run a field event.
