Meet Information

Meet will be FAT. Entries fees for both gender teams are $150 or $75 for a single gender team. Awards will include a 1st and runner up trophy and medals for the top 3 finishers in each event. Registration must be completed by Tuesday April 11, 2017 at 6:00PM. Up to 2 competitors per event are allowed, which includes 2 relay teams. Meet starts at 3:00pm, brief coaches meeting at 2:30. Track location is 269 Old Field Rd, Franklin, GA 30217. Email Coach Shelnutt for questions. All checks should be made out to Heard County High school and be brought to the coaches meeting.

General Information 1. Admission is $5. 2. The Track has eight lanes, is all-weather, and utilizes FAT timing. 3. Shot Put and Discus areas are concrete. 4. Starting blocks will be provided, and you may bring your own. 5. Shots and Discus will be inspected, weighed, and marked before Coaches meeting. 6. Each school may enter two athletes in each individual event and two relay teams. 7. All heats and flights will be set according to times, distances, and heights from entry form. Please be honest. 8. We will be scoring 8 places. 9. Champion and runner up trophies will be presented at conclusion of the meet. Individual Medals will be picked up at the end of the meet. 10. Spectators will only be allowed on the track during field events. 11. Results will be posted on the side of the Concession stand building. 12. The control tent is for timers and pickers only. No coach should enter unless summoned over the PA system. 13. Athletes competing in events held at the same time should report to both the Field Judge and the Clerk of the Course. Running events take precedence over field events and vertical events take precedence over horizontal events.

Bus Parking Buses should drop off athletes and then park at the Heard County Arena down the road where the driver will be shuttled back to the event.

Check-In 1. Check in will be located in the finish line side end zone of the infield.

Implement Weigh-In Implements will be weighed in at the red shed at the finish line before coaches meeting.

Team Areas
1. Tents are only allowed in the grassy areas around the track that are not near the shot put or jumping pits..
2. Tents are not allowed in the stands.
