The "Georgia Highlands Classic" and "Rome All Area" meets are merging and will still be the Rome All Area Championships. The venue is changing to Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia. This race is open for all adjacent Rome area teams. The host school is Pepperell High, and Runners Fit Race Works will be facilitating the chip timing of the event.

DATE: Saturday, October 15, 2016
PLACE: Georgia Highlands College Hwy. 27 S., Rome, Ga.
COURSE: The race will be run on the 5k course at Georgia Highlands College on the soccer field and around Paris Lake at the college. The course is mostly flat and fast. A majority of the course is grass and gravel.
ENTRY FEES: $75 per high school team (max $150 per high school). No extra charge for JV
$35 per middle school team (max $70 per middle school)
$10 per individual for the open race (pay at event)
Make checks payable to Pepperell High School.

I will send a receipt when I receive your entry fee.
AWARDS: 1st and 2nd place trophies for boys and girls varsity races and middle school races will be awarded. The top 15 varsity runners and middle school runners will medal.
FACILITIES: Restrooms and dressing rooms will be available.
This is an open invitational for Rome area cross country teams. Any team wishing to run may contact the race director for approval.

SCHEDULE: 8:00 Open Race (community and coaches may run. Register and pay the morning of, $10.00 per individual.)
9:00 Varsity Girls,
9:45 Varsity Boys,
10:30 Combined Junior Varsity
11:15 Middle School Girls
11:45 Middle School Boys
** We will start the varsity at 9:00, please do your best to be there on time. Varsity race runners will be able to run in the JV races if they are not present for the 9:00 start.
