Region meets listed on the XC Calendar began this past Thursday. 1-AAAAAA, 4-AAAAA, 2-AAAAAA, 6-AAAAA and 5-AAA took care of business early giving their athletes an extra week of rest for those Q' for Carrollton on 11-8. There were no real surprises in the outcome of any except for just 2 Girls teams coming out of 5-AAA. Region time always brings into question the GHSA qualifying process as a few teams make it in just by having 5 runners cross the finish line as opposed to teams in super tough regions being left out that would more than likely be top 10 (even possibly Podium contenders) at State.
