The DeKalb County Middle School Championship was hotly contested as usual so it's no surprise that this past week's overall 'Athlete of the Week' came from this meet. Tucker MS' Justin Long led the Tigers to the team title dethroning last year's champ Cedar Grove.

After a furious week of MS competition ending 3-29, Ga.MileSplit has went back to include the DeKalb County MS Championships and the Crystal League meet #2 (results submitted after deadline) In a unique situation as Cobb County Middle Schools do not field teams, student-athletes must turn to Club meets to pursue their goals. So, Tia Jones is selected as the MS Girls overall 'AOW' after her performances at the Crystal League meet.
