Cobb County Highlights Bruce Taylor Mar 25, 2014

Marietta HS dominated the 2014 Cobb County Championships sweeping both team titles and re-establishing the Blue Devils as the top Track and Field program in Cobb. Pope's girls finished a strong 2nd with state power McEachern a few points behind. On the Boys side Harrison placed a surprising 2nd with McEachern and Walton in striking distance.

Arguably the best county in the state of Georgia for high school track & field held the first portion of their county championship meet this past weekend. Cobb County, which includes Northwest suburbs of Atlanta, annually produces national caliber athletes from the schools in their area. This spring is no exception.
