Coaches,
Marietta Track and Field will be hosting the first annual Marietta Distance Carnival.
The meet will be on Saturday Feb. 15 and will have the following events:
4x1600, 3200, 4x800, DMR (1200-400-800-1600), 1600, 800, 4x3200, 4x400 and in the future we will have the steeplechase (we have the water pit, just not the hurdlers). There will be unlimited entries in the 800, 1600, 3200, seating based on time. Only one relay team per school for 4x400, 4x800, 4x1600, DMR and 4x3200. Entry fee is $85 per team or $50 per boys and girls team. The cost for Individual athletes is $15 per person. First place trophy for winning team, medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in individuals running events and batons to winning relay teams.
