Run Fit Golden Eagle Invitational 2014

The overall 4A Girls athlete of the week was none other than Venida Fagan of Chamblee HS. At the very competitive and sometimes wild and unpredictable DeKalb County Championships she clocked swift times in the 200/400 meter dashes at 24.81 and 56.42. 

It was wet, wild and very windy this past weekend  as Georgia's best survived the inclimate weather and persevered putting up some sterling Silver MileSplit National Elite Marks and Times.  Click on the article header for a list.  

Eagle's Landing HS brought the heat at  their first weekend invitational on their newly resurfaced track facility sweeping both Girls and Boys team titles. Shaw's girls and Griffin's boys finished strong 2nd's. In a much awaited showdown between 1A Boys Private speedsters, OLM's Christian Coleman got the best of ELCA's Jeffrey Uzzell in round one of their head to head battles this season
