Meet Info
You are invited to the 2013 Battle of Atlanta at Nash Farms. Last years meet attracted close to 2000 runners. The Nash Farms course is a 2.5 loop 95% grass course. Most consider the course moderate and it is the most spectator friendly course in Georgia. This meet will be capped at 30 teams per varsity race. The races will be professionally timed by Fast Feet. There will be a Split clock at the 1 mile mark . The meet will be sanctioned by GHSA as well as neighboring states if needed. Special scoring: the meet will be scored in the traditional way and also with North vs South scoring top 15 runners from schools north of I-20 vs top 15 runners from schools south of I-20.
Race Schedule
8:00 am: Varsity Boys 5K (limit 8)
8:30 am: Varsity Girls 5K (limit 8)
9:10 am: JV Girls 5K (unlimited entries)
9:50 am: JV Boys 5K (unlimited entries)
10:30 am Varsity Awards
10:50 am: Middle school/youth boys and girls 3K (3000m, unlimited entries)
11:30 JV and Middle School Team awards (medals awarded in the chute)
Awards: top 20 finishers in each race and trophies to the top 3 varsity teams per gender. Special General t-shirts to the top 10 finishers in the varsity races. Trophies to top 3 teams in the JV and Middle School Races.
Entry Deadline and Payment Information
The entry fee is $125 for a Varsity team. If you enter a boys and girls varsity team it is $200 total. JV and middle school entries are free with varsity entries. If you want to enter just a middle school team it is $50 total.
