Lion Relays Important Information
Trinity Christian School out of Sharpsburg will be hosting the 1st Annual Lion Invitational on Saturday, March 9th. Both MS and Varsity Divisions are invited. All Coaches are asked to bring "starting blocks" as we are limited to only 3, first being designated to Trinity Christian School MS and Varsity student athletes.
Entry Information
3 Entries per event, 2 Entries per relay.
There is no entry max for the 800 Meter, 1600 Meter and 3200 Meter Run.
Attending the Lion Invitational
Registration deadline is Friday, March 8th at 7:59 a.m. Make sure to select the "Entered" Key if you are attending. "Online Registration" is open for both Middle School and Varsity teams. The registration process will be used for all teams to designate lane assignments and allow proper structure for the meet.
Volunteers
1. All Teams are asked to provide 2-4 coaches and volunteers that are able to assist in working as timers or officials at the meet.
2. All Head Coaches are asked to provide their volunteer's name by Friday, March 8th no later than 11:00 a.m.
3. All Coaches and Volunteers working the meet will be asked to check in at the gate prior to entering the facility. In addition, please indicate where each volunteer is interested in working as an official or timer.
4. Please bring your stop watch and clip boards! Also, if you have a "Starter Gun", please bring with you as a back up device.
Entry Fees and Awards
There is no "entry fee" for teams who are participating in the Lion Relays. There will be a gate fee charged for each individual attending the meet who is not a coach or athlete. Awards will be given out to the top 3 places in each event and division. In addition, at the end of the meet, the top 3 teams with the most overall points will be awarded with a 1st-3rd Place plaque in each division.
T-Shirt Vendor & Concessions
Eagles Sportz will be on site to design and sale meet shirts. The sale of concessions will take place at the meet.
