Westover Relays Meet Information Order of Events: 4:00 PM: Girls & Boys High Jump, Girls Triple Jump, Boys Long Jump, Boys and Girls Pole Vault, Boys Shot Put, & Girls Discus 4:30 PM: 300 Meter Low & Intermediate Hurdles 5:00 PM: 3200 Meter Run 5:15 PM: Boys High Jump, Boys Triple Jump, Girls Long Jump, Girls Shot Put, & Boys Discus 5:30 PM: 800 Meter Run 6:15 PM: 4x100 Meter Relay Girls 1600 Meter Run 400 Meter Dash 100 Meter Dash Boys 1600 Meter Run 100 & 110 Meter Hurdles 200 Meter Dash 4x800 Meter Relay 4x400 Meter Relay Athletes involved in field events should report to the event on the first call. NO TAPE MAY BE PLACED ON THE TRACK OR RUNWAYS. Athletes in running events should report to the Clerk of the Course Tent in the middle of the field on the first call. Athletes not currently involved in an event or called for an event need to remain in the stands. Athletes in running events need to remain on the track at the conclusion of their races until they are instructed to leave. Athletes competing in events held at the same time should report to both the field judge and the clerk of the course. Running events take precedent over field events. Starting Heights and Distances Boys Girls High Jump: 5’8” High Jump: 4’6” Pole Vault: 9’0” Pole Vault: 7-0’ Long Jump: 20’ Long Jump: 15’ Triple Jump: 40’ Triple Jump: 30’ Shot Put: 40’ Shot Put: 30’ Discus: 120’ Discus: 90’ The scoring box is for track officials and coaches who have been called to the box. Coaches, please do not huddle at the officials stand. Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for all events. GHSA rules for Track and Field will apply to this meet. Only participants are allowed inside the track area during the running events. During the field events, coaches will be allowed to come on the infield area. Posted results will be provided on the back wall of the stadium. Medals will be given to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers. T-Shirts will be given to 1st place winners. Team trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams. All of Your Team’s Medals and Awards will be bagged together and waiting for you in the Press Box at the top of the stadium immediately after the results of the 4x400 have been posted. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE PRESS BOX UNTIL AFTER THE MEET. A Coaches Hospitality Room will be located under the stands on the visitor’s side of the stadium.
