Shannon Womack, formerly of Heritage HS, woke up Monday morning with a bit of a cold. It didn\'t seem to bother her too much as she led a contingent of former Georgia athletes to top finishes. Shannon ran a 20:56 to place 21st overall. Natalie Florence, formerly of Collins Hill HS, was the fifth runner for the Colorado team that demolished the competition to win the team title. Natalie\'s time of 21:07.2 placed her 30th overall. Kathleen Turchin, formerly of North Gwinnett, finished 36th overall in her first national championship race with a time of 21:11.5. Kathleen was the 31st American overall and was also named to the All American team. Congratulations to these young ladies, as well as Allison Kruetzer who finished 2nd overall in the DII National Championships in her first year of competition.
