Georgia Athletes On The 2024 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team

So now that the trials are over, I want to take a little time to highlight the athletes who are from Georgia and headed to the Olympics. Making any US team, whether it be world Championships, world cross, or some other team is incredible special and something so few athletes ever get to do in our sport. But once every four years athletes get a chance to compete for a spot in the Olympics, the event that is almost certainly the pinnacle of the sport of track and field. So here's a chance to pay respect to those who qualified for the 2024 games in Paris. I'm just focused on athletes who went to high school in Georgia, as there are a couple of athletes who went to college in Georgia but not high school who made the team.

Graham Blanks from Athens Academy placed 4th in the 5000m, but the 3rd place athlete doesn't have the Olympic standard and Blanks does. So Blanks may be going to the Olympics.
