We've all known Ella Gibbs was a super star in middle school. But the question always remained: would it translate to high school? So far the freshman has proven that she can run with the big girls. After winning state in cross country, the 1600, and 3200 she got a brand new PR at the Running Lane Track Championships. With an epic final 800m, Gibbs ran the 6th fastest 3200m time in state history. Her new PR is10:23.44.
Caroline Hood also improved her PR from 10:29 to 10:26, but remains the 10th fastest all time now that Gibbs has joined the list. More action from Running Lane coming on Saturday.
