Dalton Benefield is one of the most improved four years seniors on this list

This has got to be my favorite list to put together because it's the easiest way to see how our seniors did all four years of high school. And, as expected, several of the super stars of the sport this fall ran state all four years. Simon Schabort, Joe Sapone, Luke Churchwell, Taylor Wade, Tucker Wright, and Jared Fortenberry were already running state for their teams when they were freshman. And considering many of those teams have been state championship contenders all four years, that was no easy feat to make the team as a freshman. So it's no surprise that all of them were at the front of races all season long and came through big for their teams at the state meet. But perhaps more impressive was some of the jumps made by some of the less recognizable four year seniors.
