If you thought August was impressive, then you loved what the athletes showed the fans in the first half of September. All 6 of the nominees are undefeated this month with wins in most of the big invitationals against impressive fields. Cara Joyce ran quick at Starrs Mill before challenging herself on the tough Milton Hills for back to back wins. Caroline Hood keeps up her impressive junior season jump with yet another win at Carrollton Ortho. Ellie Brewer shook off some rust in August but successfully defended her Gwinnett County title against a strong field of podium contenders. Joe Sapone debuted at the 5k distance next door in a very quick time to win Alabama's big invitational last weekend. Bryson Gates got to winning in another fast time at the Mustang Stampede. And Ethan Ashley put up an always impressive sub 16 on the state meet course against a loaded boys championship field.

So who had the best start to September? Please vote below. The poll closes Wednesday at midnight. The winner will get an interview that will be posted on MileSplit. If unavailable then it will go to the runner up, 3rd place, etc...
