Marist has 9 athletes that could score points at the state meet. They will have 2 distance runners going "Iron Man' at Sectionals competing in the 800,1600, 3200-meter races, including frosh Ruby Little and Johna Grisik that could do some serious damage in the 4A state meet down in Albany next weekend. Jefferson had its hands full with North Oconee at region 8-AAAA as North OC fought to a tie with the Lady Dragons by winning the 4x400 relay. Katherine Law also will be in those races against Little and Grisik at Sectionals on Saturday where MileSplit Georgia is shooting race video and photos. The next five schools in the team power rankings are very evenly matched including Arabia Mountain, Fayette County, Druid Hills, Thomas County Central and Miller Grove.
