2021 Outdoor Track: Which High School Boys 'Won Week Six'

I an unusually chilly/windy weekend down in Georgia, one athlete dominated his events like none other this season. Malik Mixon of Westlake had the top 3 performances in the 400m dash, 110m hurdles, and 300m hurdles. Kamari Miller of Marietta clocked a 9:08 in the boys 3200m at the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Pope HS. Blessed Trinity won the coveted baton at Big Orange Relays in the 4x1600 relay going 17:53, while the Great Danes of Denmark claimed the 4x800 title posting a time of 8:02.  Seth Allen of New Manchester slung the Discus 168-11 to take over the top spot all-classes. We had 2 more high jumpers clear 6-8, including Riyon Rankin of Brunswick and Zach Marinko of Pope HS. Tanayce Calhoun from Cass HS LJ'd 23-0 at PHS Home Meet #1. Blessed Trinity's boys killed it in the 4x1600 at Big Orange Relays posting a strong time of 17:53, while a solid Denmark squad emerged victorious in the hotly contested 4x800 relay at Big Orange Relays going 8:02.49. Joshua Smith of Landmark Christian continued his supremacy in the Triple Jump winning with a mark of 47-0.
