Kameron Jackson of Landmark winning the A Private 800m going 1:54.93
Landmark Christian took advantage of injuries to 2 of Riverside Military's top athletes and steam rolled to the A Private team title with 105 points inspired by legendary Coach Bill Thorn who retired earlier this year. The Eagles scored well in the distance events the first 2 days led by Zack Truitt's win in the 1600m with a pr time of 4:17.25 and 2nd place effort in the 3200m (9:34) Kameron Jackson placed 4th in the 1600m and raced to Gold Saturday in the 800m run at 1:54.93 with Omari Hammond taking 4th. Tyler Span hurdled to Silver in the 300h at 40.73 with Brogan Korta placing in both hurdles events. Landmark sped to Gold in the 4x400 besting RMA with a time of 3:21.92 The Eagles rang up 14 points in the Pole Vault with Micah McAllister and Brogan Korta having bars of 12-6 each, Joshua Smith scored a pair of Bronze medals in the horizontal jumps (21-0.75/42-10.75) and scored well in the Discus behind Braxton Brown's toss of 150-2 for 3rd and Andy Cruver's 4th place mark at 150-0 Athens Academy claimed the 2nd place team spot, follwed by RMA and St. Francis
