THURSDAY

I arrived to Portland on Thursday around 11am. All of the athletes were put on a charter bus and we were taken to the hotel to check in and make sure all logistics were taken care of. Once all of the Southeast girls were checked in, around 2:30 we headed to the Tiger Woods center at Nike headquarters. While there, we were shown the athlete lounge and had our gear reveal. It was incredible! After receiving our gear, we did a shakeout run around the headquarters and were able to do striders on the Michael Johnson Track. We then headed to dinner and had the opening ceremony where they announced all of the team and individuals. It was an amazing start to the weekend!
