AA Boys
Carl Ellis Corley
Team Race:
AA has to be one of the most confounding classes to rank. Many of these rural schools, also run in weekday/weekend duals-quads, that never turn in results, point in case 4-AA region..Also, a few of the courses don't seem legit. However, the team race is defending champ Bleckley County's to lose. They are just too experienced, well coached with a nice course to train on as well. Its wide open for the next 3 Podium spots. Banks County seemed hot early, Lamar County is inconsistent, while Toombs County has really come on in October. 7-AA Armuchee may have the best shot to crash the party. Coosa, Model, Dodge, Benedictine and Jeff Davis are all too close to call.

Dayton Cannon
Individual Race:
Defending Champ, Carl Ellis Corley may have been pacing runners at 3-AA, but he burned down a 16:15 at the FSU meet early October. Dayton Cannon had a great race winning region going 17:07. Dodge County's Clayton Scarborough was about 20m behind Cannon at 17:11. Tristan Lynn from Toombs County has been running well in October. The remaining spots on the AA All State squad seem to be up for grabs. Watch out for 2 more Royals in this bunch including Bronson Sanders and Garrett Rogers.

Alex Quarles
Team Race:
Talk about close, look at all the team average times for the top 5 ranked squads below. The big question that looms is who is going to handle the grueling hills of the State Course better? Model and Bleckley County were both at Last Chance with Bleckley racing and Model touring in different races. Rabun County is in the foothills of the mountains and must train on hills up there. Lamar County and Jeff Davis won their regions, with Lamar having the fastest team avg of the top 5 ranked squads. Everyone else will be competing to crack the top 10.
