The Purple Hurricanes are prepared to hit Jefferson with force this State meet after placing 4th last year. Daniel Rivera is a potential high point winner specializing in the 300h, LJ and 400m. Gerald Morgan is a contender in the 110h as well as Kelton Williams in the HJ.

Fitzgerald has more firepower in reserve with athletes like Trey Graham (#1 110 Hurdles), Darius Hampton (Discus) and Chandler Ecker (PV). They should also do well in the Relays.
Thomasville and GAC are evenly matched and whoever brings it will come out ahead. The Dawgs feature thrower Bryan Kato (a threat to sweep) Travet Witherspoon in the Long Sprints, Keldrin Reddick in the 800 and Andrew Jackson in the 300h.
GAC has 3 top athletes and speedy relay teams making the Spartans contenders. Miller Kettle will contend in the distance events, Darius Slayton and Micah Abernathy in the sprints.
Bleckley County Shot Putter Tijea Randall
Bleckley County has at least 9 chances to score all over the place. Perhaps their best hope for a Gold medal is thrower Tijea Randall rated #1 in the Shot (he leg squatted 550 lbs during Football season) Cord Yearty is top 5 in the Discus. The Royals could score over 20 points in the 1600/3200 with runners Carl Ellis Corley, Austin Cook, Dayton Cannon and Bronson Sanders. Bleckley also has 2 vaulters that can score well including Will Simmons and Porter Arnold.
Vidalia can definitely put up 40 behind short sprints title contender Nathan McBride. Others that could add to the 'Sweet Onions' are Shon Jones (TJ), Tyler Campbell (800) Dedrick Johnson (200) and Devin Johnson (Discus) Another team hoping to be in contention for a cup is Riverside Military.
