The race began with Audrey Honiotes taking the lead in her usual MO, but Mary Claire Solomon of Blessed trinity tagging right along with some serious drafting action for 3 laps. Then, Solomon made a big move as if shot out of a cannon right after the gun lap as if she was running a 400 leg on a relay never letting up pulling away from 2014 XC Champ Honiotes for the AAA 3200 meter crown in 11:05. Honiotes from Hart County tried to stay in touch, but fell off the pace set by Solomon the final lap placing 2nd in 11:12. Westminster had 2 girls score points including Gabby Bunnell at 3rd (11:49) and Charlotte Folinus 5th (12:07) Makayla Hewell was a respectable 4th at 11:57 and Hart County's Madison Congdon was 6th in 12:17.
