BOYS
Milton used it's distance strength (sweeping the 800m & 3200m with 1-2 finishes) along with points in the 300m hurdles, 400m & 4x400m relay to hold-off a hard charging Westake squad which countered with a sweep in the 110m Hurdles, wins in the 100m, 300m hurdles & 4x100m & 2nd's in 100m, 200m & 4x400m. But the individual highlight of the meet was the performances by Ryan Clark of Banneker. One of the nation's best put on a show with wins in the 200m (21.13), 400m (47.53) & anchoring their 4x400m relay (3:18.70) and also running a leg on their 2ndplace 4x100m relay team as well.
New stadium marks were recorded in the 200m & 400m by Clark, 300m hurdles by Treymane Flagler of Westlake (37.69) & Westlake's 4x100m relay (41.59) & Banneker's 4x400m relay (3:18.70).
GIRLS
Westlake's dominance was apparent with multiple scorers in the 100m, 200m & 400m, a sweep of the 100m & 300m hurdles events & a win in the 4x100m relay (46.94) and a 2nd & 3rd in the 4x400m relay. North Springs, led by Micaiah Ransby, won & set new stadium marks in the 200m (24.33) & 400m (54.62) and raced on their come-from-behind win in the 4x400m relay (3:46.93), also a stadium mark by close to 10-seconds! Other stadium marks included Lindsay Billings running a 4:57.21 for the 1600m to set a new mark by over 9 seconds & Kennedy Simon's win in the 300m hurdles (43.88) to lead a sweep of that event for Westlake.
