Redan's Girls led by anchor Shequilla McLain outraced speedy Salem to the win in the 4x100m Relay in 48.58

Cedar Shoals relay squads were huge in their winning the team title. The Jags scored 16 points in the 4x100 taking 1st (42.34) and 3rd place. ACS may have their best ever 4x100 squad this season going 42.88.

Athens Academy swept the Girls 1600 led by winner Emily Ballard Meyer (5:35) with Emily Elder not far behind in 5:40.

North Oconee again swept a 1600 race with Harper Sigler and Tyler Jones both clocking 4:25s (.30)

Redan's girls piled up the points in the 400m as Tanzanie Brown won in a photo finish at 58.60. Breanna Thornton of Eastside was 2nd (58.78) and Promise Clark 3rd (58.86)

It was a showdown of Athen's Areas best in the 400m as Cedar's Breshawrd Cooper clocked a 48.36 edging Justin Brooks of ACS (48.76)

Redan's Shequilla McLain hurdled her way to 1st place in the 100h clocking a respectable 15.09

Marcus Ellis of Clarke Central won a very competitive 110 Hurdles race clocking a 15.30

Frosh Anna Marian Block wasted no time in thrashing the girls 800m field winning easily going 2:20.48

Eastside senior Landon Moore flirted with sub 2: winning an exciting 800m 'dash' in 2:00.39

Breshawrd Cooper doubled in the 200m besting the ACS Brooks twins in a swift 21.30 leading the Jags to the team title.

Redan scored 18 in the 300 hurles as Miyah Golden won in a National Elite time of 44.79. McLain was 2nd at 46.23.

Marcus Ellis of Clark Central completed his Hurdles double in the 300h clocking a 40.04

Emily Elder of Athens Academy had a good day winning the 3200 meters in 12:06 after earlier placing 2nd in the 1600m

Tyler Jones of North Oconee had a great last lap in the 3200m showing speed and strength with a winning time of 9:45.86

Redan's girls put the icing on the cake running away with the 4x400 relay going 4:04.19 and taking 3rd place as well!

Only a few points separated Cedar Shoals from ACS going into the 4x400, but the Jags traditionally strong 4x400 squad was a bit faster sealing their team title in 3:25.61. ACS burned down a 3:27.01 which aint too shabby for 1A Private.....
