I will be the first to admit not knowing inside information on GISA teams as we get maybe 1-2 results submitted during the reguar season and region meets. Proof in the pudding is AA preview written by yours truly. On this day Mill Springs liked the southern cooking at Darton College after racing on some tougher tracks in the metro area and waltzed back up 75 with the 1st place team hardware. Placing 4 runners in the top 6 spots was the trick scoring 32 points for an easy win.

AA Girls
The lead pack in the Girls AA Championship consists of: (l-r) Katherine McGarr, Alina Jablonski and Ivie Nobles (Image by Jeremy Danzie)
With Mary Alice Smoot formerly of Valwood doing her thing now in College, the door was wide open for the AA Girls Individual title. It became a battle thru much of the race as Katherine McGarr from Nearby Crisp Academy prevailing over Twiggs Academy's Ivie Nobles. McGarr churned out a winning time of 20:17 and Nobles was about 150 meters behind in 20:42.

David Emanuel were 2nd teamwise behind the efforts of Kirsten Lamb (11th) and Johnna Goodman (12th) Oak Mountain placed 3rd paced by a McKena Lipham's 7th place finish. Rounding out the top 5 individuals were Alina Jablonski of Piedmont (21:15) and Perra Harrell from Grace Christian 5th (22:10)
