Hart County's Girls made a statement this morning that they are deserving of their #3 ranking running away with the team title scoring 28 points. It will be a tough climb to challenge WEstminster/Blessed Trinity, but if Overall winner Audrey Honiotes wins state scoring 1 point their chances will improve. Honiotes actually had some company today thru the first 1.5 miles with East Jackson frosh Sue Anne Moralis in tow, but pulled away the final mile posting a nice 19:02.

Sue Anne Moralis hung around Honiotes long enough to go sub 20: clocking a 19:46

Moralis was easily 2nd overall at 19:46. Athens Christian's Elizabeth Gunther outsprinted Anna Tipton from Hart County to seize 3rd overall (21:00) leading ACS to 2nd. Tipton was a step back in 21:01. Corin Hoel and Madison Congdon placed 5th/6th for Hart County. Morgan County placed 3rd as a team 6 points behind ACS
