Milton Competes Well at Knight's Crossing (VA)

Varsity Boys
Running against the #1 & #19 southeast regionally ranked teams did not deter the boys from Milton as good pack running put them on the podium with a 3rd-place finish. Leading the effort was junior Jack Bluth. Bluth (17th-16:35) was able to challenge for a medal but came up just short. Connor Cole (20th-16:39), freshman Sam Bowers (25th-16:42).
Varsity Girls
The Lady Eagles placed a strong 6th (165 pts) out of 24 competing schools. Senior Amy Ruiz led Milton (18th-19:26) and was a close to a :24 season best, Riley Burr (23rd-19:41) and Juanita Pardo (27th-19:47) gave the Eagles three finishers in the top-30.
