This race was definitely in 5A 1600m runnerup, Northview's Lindsay Billings' wheelhouse as she ran like a machine all 8 laps pulling away from a game Anna Hayden (11:20- 3rd) of Riverwood who hung tough with Billings for 4 laps. Ashley Kehoe bided her time much of the race over 100 meters back running in tandem with Cameron (1600m champ), but took off the final laps catching and passing Hayden for 8 huge points for Pope HS posting a 11:18. Winder-barrow frosh Micah Weathers was 4th in 11:22.
