Malachi Burnett and Jackson Hogsed are already in San Diego preparing for the Footlocker XC National Meet. So let's take a look at how Georgia runners have fared at this meet in the past. This course has remained mostly unchanged over the years and might be the only big meet course that's as hard as Carrollton. Or they're at least close enough in difficulty. There was a 5 year stretch though when the meet was in Florida on a fast course from the years 1997-2001. It's also worth noting that while they take 10 qualifiers now, that wasn't always the case. It used to be 7 qualifiers for a time and then it was 8 qualifiers before they eventually moved to 10 qualifiers in the mid 2000's. The meet has also had a couple of names over the years, but it's most commonly known as Footlocker.
