Henry County XC Championship Summary
This season the Henry County championships were held at Luella HS on a course I am totally unfamiliar with instead of Nash Farms Battlefield. Union Grove won the Boys title and Eagle's Landing took the Girls. Connor Dalrymple of Union Grove was the boys top medalist in 16:59 and frosh Betty Jackson of Eagle's Landing was the Girls titleist.
Boys
Union Grove had to contend with a game Ola squad taking a narrow 6 point win claiming the Henry County team title. Connor Dalrymple led the hunt for the Wolves placing 1st keying the team win clocking a 16:59 with almost a full minute ahead of Ola's Erik Roberts who placed 2nd in 17:57
Girls
The resurgent Eagle's Landing girls squad beat 5A Union Grove by 7 points enroute to grabbing the 1st place hardware. Fast Frosh Betty Jackson led the flock winning the overall title posting a 20:48. Union Grove was paced by Ellunde Montgomery who clocked a 21:28 taking runnerup honors.
