MS Boys Runner of the Week
Andrew Scott of the Junior Hoyas was the Boys Overall Champion at the Cobb County MS Championships this past weekend running a 11:27.94 Scott has improved all season culminating in his first title. Andrew also is the top returning 7th grader from the Georgia MS State Championship meet. Andrew should be representing his school, the Lost Mountain MS Hoyas 2 weeks from now.
MS Girls Runner of the Week
Anna Marion Block (pictured in the middle) of Athens Academy has been chosen as the MS Girls Runner of the Week. Block has led the Spartans undefeated season and consistently been one of the top MS girls this Fall. Her 11:30 on the tough course with a 1:30 margin of victory (over 2 teamates) is impressive. Block will definitely be one of the top girls to beat down in Cochran.
