The 11th Annual Jefferson Main Street News meet was ran under cloudy skies and a slight cool breeze before a drizzing rain hit the JV Mixed race. 10 teams were in attendance as Galloway's Reilly Friedman tempoed his way to the overall win in 17:12 Audrey Honiotes of Hart County easily won the girls race clocking a 20:36
Boys
Galloway's Reilly Friedman (pictued above) tempoed his way to the overall win in 17:12 Gainesville ran well as a team with a 1-5 Split of :45 sealing the team victory. Leading the Red Elephants was Juan Ortega placing 5th in 18:07 Chestatee ran to a 2nd place finish led by 3rd overall individual Jason Dang in 17:55 and Jack Carne's 4th place finish in 18:03. Overall runnerup was Gerardo Suarez of Johnson HS in 17:53
Girls
Audrey Honiotes (pictured above) of Hart County easily won the girls race clocking a 20:36. Chestatee came over from Hall County and the #3 ranked 5A squad took home a 31 point win over host Jefferson. Leading their squad with top 6 finishes were Maggie Wilson and Sara Beth English. Rabun County's Sally Woerner placed 2nd in 21:27 and Maddie Newton of Jackson County was 3rd in 21:35
