Here are a few of the past month's newest signings including Hillgove's Dyarius Tucker, Javianne Oliver of Monroe Area and Athens Academy's Henry Dywer who doubled in the 1A Private 800m/1600m. Dwyer will be staying close to home choosing UGA!
Henry Dwyer of Athens Academy signs his NLI to compete for the DAWGS at UGA Coach Cunniff has a great class coming in with Brad Hort and Brian Sullivan. Henry had 10 school records at AA. 4 year region champ in 1600, 3 in 800. State team champs 2013 in XC. 4:17 mile at Taco Bell a few weeks ago. Despite mono last year, he's come back and so happy to be a Bulldog.

Gainesville High School Senior girl's Track & Field members sign a track scholarship with Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina. Pictured from left to right are Mia Buffington with mother Torisha King standing happily behind her and Denisha Lyles also with her mother Sophia Bonds standing behind her. When asked why Southern, the girl's replied "when we took our recruiting visit to Southern Wesleyan we knew then that this was the place for us. The university is small and exciting with emphasis on academics and athletics in that order. Coach Thiel made us feel wanted and welcomed." Mia and Denisha would like to send a special thanks to their track coaches Wayne Jones and Gene Earls for continuing to push them for four years.
