GHSA Roster Entry

Cross Country Rosters
In order to facilitate and more accurately report region competition results, the GHSA has established a procedure for reporting cross country team rosters online. We have created a roster form on the GHSA MIS website (app.ghsa.net) that will be used to report cross country team rosters instead of the paper forms used in the past.
Each school athletic department was mailed a letter with access codes for the cross country coach that are to be used to access the roster form. If you cannot locate the access code letter for your school, please email webmaster@ghsa.net and we will resend the letter via email. Athletic Directors also have access to this form and can report the roster.
The deadline for 2014 cross country rosters is October 14, 2014.

ROSTERS:
Rosters must be submitted to GHSA by Oct 14, 2014. Failure to turn in GHSA rosters will result in a fine being imposed on your school by GHSA, or result in your team not being allowed to participate in the Region or State Championships.

Directions for entering athletes on milesplit can be found here:
www.milesplit.us/pages/Online_Meet_Reg_Instructions

Teams are allowed to name 12 athletes to the region team; 7 of which will run in the championship race, and the top 5 athletes scored.

Please review the GHSA rules and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations, including uniforms, jewelry, tiebreakers, etc.

COURSE:
The 5K course will consist of 3 loops consisting of grass, gravel, and dirt. It will be similar to the course used for the DeKalb County meets.

EQUIPMENT AND PARKING:
There is ample parking at the middle school. No admission fee will be charged. Please stay off the baseball field; and place your tents and tarps outside the course. Spectators will NOT be allowed in the hills or on the course at any time.

MEDICAL:
No medical aid will be available on site. Coaches are responsible for meeting the medical/training needs of their own teams.
