Hilton Atlanta Northeast located on 5993 Peachtree Industrial. This is the same hotel we have used the last nine years for the clinic. There is a block of rooms for the clinic. Be sure to let the hotel know you are wanting to use one of the rooms set aside for the block for the clinic.

Cost of the Clinic: $ 59 for those that register prior to January 14, 2008. Late registration is $65.00. Registration fee covers light dinner on January 18, light breakfast on January , and awards luncheon on January 19. You can register by mail  or pay on January 18 or January 19 at Wesleyan.

Directions: Wesleyan High School, Norcross, Ga.  Wesleyan School is located in Norcross, Georgia, approximately five miles north of I-285, just past the intersection of Peachtree Parkway (Highway 141) and Spalding Drive. There are two entrances to the school; one is less than one quarter of a mile north of the Peachtree Parkway-Spalding Drive intersection, and the other is about one quarter of a mile east of that intersection on Spalding Drive.

Directions From I-285: 
Take the Peachtree Industrial North exit (east or west bound). When Peachtree Industrial forks to the right, take the left fork, Highway 141/Peachtree Parkway/Cumming. Continue on 141 to the traffic light at Spalding Drive. Take a right on Spalding (a Bank of America will be on your right). The entrance to Wesleyan will be on your left at the first traffic light.

Directions From I-85 South: 
From northeast Georgia, take I-85 South to the Beaver Ruin Exit and turn right on Beaver Ruin Road. Continue 2-3 miles to Buford Highway and turn right. At next light, turn left on Langford Road (Texaco Station on left). Continue on Langford (it will merge with Medlock Bridge Rd. before crossing Peachtree Industrial) to Spalding Drive. Turn left on Spalding (passing the new Norcross High School on the left) and continue until you see Wesleyan’s football stadium on the right. Turn right at the light just past the stadium into the school property.

Directions From Ga. 400 North: 
Take Ga. 400 North to exit 7 Holcomb Bridge East. Head east to Spalding Drive. Turn left. Continue straight across Highway 141/Peachtree Parkway. Go to the first traffic light after the Peachtree Pkwy intersection and turn left into Wesleyan School.

Directions From Ga. 400 South: 
Take Ga. 400 South to exit 13 (Hwy. 141) and go south on 141. Proceed on 141 to Spalding Drive (there will be a Wendy's on the left) and turn left at the traffic light onto Spalding. Go to the first traffic light and turn left into Wesleyan School.

Speakers (Clinicians)

1.Denis Kholev is an accomplished athlete with personal pole vault record of 18'8”. He is an experienced coach and an educator. Denis was a 2001 NCAA champion and Pac-10 conference champion, while at University of Southern California (USC). He spent more than a decade competing on a world circuit, participated in World and European Championships and qualified for two Olympic Games.

2. Andrew Hudson-Head Cross Country and Track Coach at Collins Hill High School.

Collins Hill has won 4 straight state championships in cross country and two in track in 5-A.

3. Richard Ramsey-Sprint/jumps/hurdles Coach at Collins Hill High School

Very successful with the sprints and jumps.

4. Stephen Harris-Norcross High School (Stephen attended Norcross High School)

Current Social Studies Teacher at Norcross High School

Norcross High Graduate 1999

4 Time- All-American at the University of Tennessee in the Decathlon

NCAA Champion 2003

Ranked #4 in the US and #15 in the World in the Decathlon in 2003

Currently in training for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing China

5.Paul Nowicki,  Jacksonville, Florida (Middle Distance/Distance)

Coach Nowicki is a very successful coach in Florida. The girl’s team just placed 1st in cross country in 2007, while the boys were fifth in the state.

8. Ron Johnson, Ass’t Track Coach, University of Texas

He was a clinician in 2003 at the Georgia Clinic. Coach Johnson is very involved in the USATF Track Level I Programs.
