2nd Annual Racing the Comets Series "Fastest Meet in Georgia"
South Gwinnett is hosting its 2nd Annual Racing the Comets series during the 1st week of March. The series is open for Junior Varsity Competition on Wednesday March 2, 2011, and Varsity Competition on Saturday March 5, 2011.
Racing the Comets will be held at Richard Snell Community Stadium which is housed on the campus of South Gwinnett High School.
Running events will include 3200,1600, 800, 400, 200,100, 100/110 H, 300H, 4X100 Relay, 4X400 Relay, and 4X800 Relay. Field events will include Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump. No Pole Vault.
The meet fees will be $75 per individual teams and $100 for Boys and Girls teams.
Timing will be done by the Perfect Timing Group.
Medals will be given to the top three contestants in each event and trophies will be awarded to the top two teams in the meets.
