Meet Schedule
Schedule is tentative based on performance of athletes. We will try our best to start on time, but we could get slightly behind schedule. We will not start before the proposed times.
4:00pm- Banks County Senior recognition
4:30pm- Elementary recognition and run
4:50pm- Girls race
5:30pm- Boys race
Box assignments are first come, first serve.
Course
The course at Banks County is a challenging mixture of grass, track, turf, single wide and double wide trails, making it a true cross country course. It will be marked with single lines, and double lines. Runners will start at the east end goal line of the football field in Leopards Stadium before entering the back 40 woods loop. Next, they will complete a "campus tour" circumnavigating the campus before entering the back 40 woods loop for a second time. Finally, runners will finish at the universal start/finish line of the track in Leopards Stadium. In addition, runners will be making road crossings 6 times, but will not be running on roads for more than 20 yards at a time. This course provides spectators 4 opportunities to see runners without ever having to leave the stadium!
